A Talk by Kris Kennedy (Romance Writing Lab)
About this Talk
Drama lives on reversals, and predictable stories are boring stories. As storytellers, our job is to consistently deliver the unexpected, or the expected in unexpected ways.
Not an easy task.
It can be challenging to figure out how to deliver the unexpected when you're in the thick of a manuscript, wrestling with "big story" issues such as characters who won't cooperate or plots that are falling apart.

How do you consistently craft scenes so they're filled with reversals and surprises?
I'll show you!
We're going to cover a straightforward, powerful approach for engineering the unexpected in every scene.
